Biofeedback Training & Coaching

Biofeedback sessions are best characterized as stress reduction and relaxation training through the use of signals from the client’s own body.  Its aim is to help support overall well-being by making changes to habitual stress reactions that can cause pain or disease.

This is accomplished through the use of a professional electro-physiological biofeedback technology called the L.I.F.E. System, which is designed to aid in the reduction of stress and muscle relaxation. The device sends and receives subtle and quantifiable signals through a 5-point harness system attached to the client’s head, wrists and ankles. This process assists the body's self-corrective natural defense mechanisms by encouraging release of stress and tension, as well as encouraging a sense of internal balance. Due to this ability to reduce stress in the body, biofeedback can help with:

•Therapy for anxiety disorders

•Chronic pain and other types of pain

•Tension headaches

•High and low blood pressure

•Insomnia

•Asthma

•Drug addiction

Sessions begin with a client assessment procedure while attached to the device, followed by specific biofeedback program sequences targeted to the individualized findings of the assessment.
